Damn, he almost looks like he's about at the normal walking around weight an average man of his height should be. Although he's a world class athlete (or was), and should be within 10-15 pounds of his fighting weight at all times. He looks like he's about mid 160's here.
Yeah, I Feel way too much time has passed. I do really think that had he stuck around, and jsut took maybe a solid 8-10 month rest after the Pac KO, he could have came back and beat some of the top guys at 140 (which is definitely where he is best at - 147 guys are too big, and he can't implement his infighting/bullying as well). Now I feel he's simply been gone for too long. Even though he's only 33, and other boxers have taken just as long off, and still came back to win some fights, I just think Hatton's style is too demanding for what he can commit these days. Thanks for the good career, and memories, Hatton! Enjoy your loot, and focus on promotional company! You got one of England's best sub-147 up and comers in Scott Quigg!
I always assumed he was doing alright for himself with being a promoter and commentator......but then again he ain't earning the same amount of money now then when he was fighting so if he is fighting for just for the sake of money then its basically to keep pace with the lifestyle he set for himself during his heyday.
Seriously, with the glass he's packing in that chin he is one range finding jab away from bambi town. He should stick to other sports like doing coke and getting fat.
It's nice to see him looking that trim, should be good for his long-term health. A comeback on the other hand...not so much.
THIS. Kostya Tszyu took what chin he had away from him, though *******s would try to have you think differently. Pre Tszyu, Hatton would have laughed at Lazcano's punches, and swatted him like a fly, never mind get wobbled by Juan.
