Latest rumor: Vitali has bad knee injury

This is coming from a reporter over in Munich.

CHEF, any truth to this rumor?

I didn't detect any limping in the weigh-in or the public workout.

I also heard the same rumor before Vitali fought Arreola.

And it turned out to be false.

 

I promised not to give the name.

Apparently this is usually a good source.

But I still have trouble buying it.

I doubt he'd go through with the fight if this were the case.

 

Yeah, it's likely bunk.

But it is a story floating around out there.

Big heavyweight fights usually have loads of rumors like this floating around, and this one is no different.

 

Last time I heard this was right before the Arreola fight - and then Vitali did more moving than he had in a long time.

Until I hear corroboration from another source, I won't believe it.
