    Sources HERE and HERE.

I'm surprised they got rid of McKee so quickly. He holds a 25-4-2 record and was on an 11 fight win streak before his split decision loss to Jacob Volkmann.

Marcus Davis is the sort of brawler the UFC loves so I'm a bit surprised they got rid of him too. He's always in exciting fights and has a bunch of 'X of the Night' awards. I guess losing four of his last five was too much.

Brandon Vera had lost three on the trot and looked like a terribly limited fighter at UFC 125. The writing was on the wall.

I can Strikeforce picking some of these guys up, McKee especially.

Apparently McKee's fight was horrendously boring, that no doubt played a part in it.

Losing 4 of your last 5 is clearly the reason for Davis'. At 37 and suffering some serious KO losses I reckon Davis could be looking at calling it a day now.

I think Davis should try coaching. He seems calm and level headed, and could help MMA improve it's boxing technique. He adapted his pretty well and has improved as an MMA fighter even though his physical skill is in decline.

I can't believe he got rid of McKee! That is shocking! He had a 4 fight deal!

Good cuts McKee is boring and cant back up his **** talking, Davis has been getting KTFO badly here lately and Vera cant seem to buy a victory.

Just in. Vera promises to be a threat to win both the LHW and HW title at Strikeforce.

he's always promised many things but it seems to go out the window when he gets punched in the face.

Mckee himself said if the Volkman fight turned out borring, that he would retire, Im sure Dana gave him the boot though since he has made it clear that he values the entertainment factor more than simply getting the win.

Vera needs to leave and fight somewhere else. Strikeforce should be a nice start. Davis would be an awesome addition in the strikeforce.

wouldnt be susprised to see vera back in the ufc if he can pick up a few wins in other promotions. not surprised about davis, he has done well for the ufc and been in some good fights but i hope he calls it a day, he is 37 and has looked slow over his last couple of fights.

McKee is old, doesn't close the show, doesn't really excite and lost at a low level. His run was hardly against the creme de la creme outside of the UFC.

McKee I have sympathy for given how hard he worked to get his shot at the bigtime, Davis aswell seems a little harsh considering he's been an "entertainment" fighter recently and has generally delivered.

Vera much less so, he's had half a dozen shots at the bigtime since the long layoff in 06-07 and has not only lost all of them but put in weak dull performances in most aswell.

Seeya Vera! Take a trip to see the wizard and get a heart and some brains. Dude has all the talent in the world and none of the character to make it work.

If I was Vera, I would retire after getting bitchslapped and my nose broken by a guy who lost to Rashad Evans.
