    I've done some work with various sporting/news websites over the years. This has given me access to several sports insiders/journalists think LA Times, Boston Globe, ESPN, (although not necessarily them), etc...

    Anyway, the latest update as of today on the Wlad-Haye negotiations is:

    Haye has come crawling back to Wladimir. Looks like Haye realized there wasn't nearly as much money fighting his mandatory, and the risk with fighting Povetkin was too great.

    July 2nd - Wlad vs Haye. It's 90% done....


    Obviously I cannot reveal my source(s), so do not ask. If you have doubts look at my post on Jan 4th, and you'll see that I posted Wlad was signing again to fight Chisora.

    Update: As of this morning (March 2nd) I've been told it's 99.99 percent done. Just working out some final details.

    We'll see what happens. Of course 90% isn't 100%....but from the info I have, it looks like it's finally going to happen, and it will be on July 2nd, otherwise I wouldn't have posted.

    Either you're telling the truth or you want people to be saying "Haye pulled out AGAIN! What a coward". Consider you put the spin on it that Haye was "crawling back" and not "Trying to ensure the fight happens", I think it may be the latter, especially as you're not willing to list your source.

    Well once Haye stopes acting ***** and gets a contract signed and turns up on fight night, I don't care if he eats leather and goes out on his shield, the guy just needs to deliver on his promises and so far it's been all a load of tosh.

    Ummm facing Wladimir is a much greater risk than facing Povetkin(he's scared of Wlad too). Hopefully you're right but there's still no guarantee that Wladimir doesn't get injured again beforehand. I'll have much respect for Haye if this is true even if he gets obliterated which I think he will.

    Jack, I don't go around making up stuff and posting junk threads. And I certainly don't want Haye to pull out again, I want to see this fight!

    Obviously I cannot reveal my sources, if I did that I would lose all trust, and wouldn't get future information. This seems common sense to me, so why you would use "not revealing my sources" against me, I have no idea...

    Anyway, like I said, look at this post and check the date: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=280091. Then go look and see when it was officially announced.
