But you said yourself that a fight with Wlad is impossible for that date. So surely you must believe that, if these claims are true, Haye is signing on to fight a fight which is impossible to occur. Otherwise, he is "crawling back". Either that or you were lying to defend David Haye's initial refusal to take the July date.

Anyways, I think that there is a good chance the OP is speaking the truth. A fight with Povetkin is a potential banana skin for Haye and would ruin his retirement pay day against a Klitschko. Fingers crossed it is true.

My two favourite heavyweights. If and when this actually happens, I predict a great fight: two heavy hitters with dodgy chins who can KO each other. I give a slight edge to Wlad, but to be honest I'm a fan of both (based purely on whether or not I like to see them box).
