Does anyone have any info on how this fight can physically be made for july?

As I understood it, haye had a mandatory obligation to fulfil. Have the wba granted him an extension? Will they promote him to super champ? Or will he vacate. Surely it is one of them 3 possibilities right?

Doubt it man, it's probably more smoke and mirrors from the Hayefaker.

Haye has glass balls, so that reduces the chances of this fight happening to 20% right of the bat.

The "promotion" to "Super Champ" would happen anyway as soon as the WBA belt is in danger of getting unified (WBA's worst nightmare is losing control of their precious title), so that will be a reasonable assumption.

I think this is Haye the crafty businessman at work here. He knew fighting Chagaev or Povetkin would bring far higher risk and very little $$$. From his perspective, pointless fights. The Klitschkos took away Adamek, his only other really marketable option with some increaed risk (but far less than Klitschkos).
So Haye will either fight another old bum or two then retire or cash out big against Wlad.

I think he's thinking about $$$ vs. pride at this point. Haye wants the huge $$$ the Wlad fight will bring him but will his ego all him to take it? He will most likely be dominated and Koed into retirement by Wlad, shattering his image to his rabid UK fanbase. I think he knows this and doesn't want to go out like that.

Hopefully, the $$$ > ego...so we get to see

Haye realizes he can't beat a top 10 heavy like Povetkin. That fight wouldn't pay ****, and after Haye gets knocked out, he'll have his retirement date to leave the sport with grace, or he'll make a joke of himself and take a couple more UK-only fights to make a little money and probably get knocked out again and fade into obscurity. He'd rather have one big payday and only one loss, so the July 2 fight with Wlad seems feasible. End your career in style: on your back with a fat paycheck.

Haye just cannot make fights happen: Chagaev, Povetkin are all falling through. Wlad has him cornered.

I sure hope this is wrong as I think Wlad/Haye is likely a boring mismatch while Haye/Povetkin would be an outstanding bout. Haye/Chagaev wouldn't be a bad fight etiher.

Tbh Haye/Povetkin always did seem like a pipe dream--too much risk too little reward.

On the other hand if anyone is a threat to Wlad it is Haye. Hopefully Haye will bring it and Wlad will be tested.

ive been hoping for Haye/Povietkin, but well, im not very surprised with the putative outcome - it looked a bit odd to me that Haye was willing to face a real fighter and risk his $$. Tho, it would be good if he proved himself before facing K2.

No just NO. This fight will not happen, please refrain from pumping boxing fans up, they'll only be left with further disappointment.

The fight is static for July 2'nd. Haye will fight his mandatory, mark my words.

Do you really believe Haye would take a no reward/high risk fight before his biggest payday?

No, I am not disputing that.

Wladimar is tied up, it's just another front by him to further delude us fans into thinking Haye is next - After Chisora.

Do you really believe a Klitschko fanatic? Don't be conned into thinking Haye is NEXT!:patsch

Vitali is the only viable option for Haye as for as I see it.
