STEVE HARKIN Will guest on a Stephen Vaughan show in Liverpool on the 27th November at the Olympia KEVIN SATCHELL Also boxes on this Liverpool show and looks to go 2-0 within 8 weeks of turning pro against Francis Croes. THE LIONS DEN Tickets are moving well for our next show on Sunday 21st November at the George Carnell centre in Manchester which is topped by Brian Rose against Lee Noble for the English Light-Middleweight title. A full supporting card of Warren Tansey , Terry Flannigan , Kieran Farrell ,Johnny Ward , Gary Barnes and Stephen Keays backs the main event up nicely. COLNE SHOW OFF The anticipated Colne show has now been put back to 2011 as a bigger venue had to be found to accommodate the number of VIP fighters looking for work before XMAS. A show will now take place on the 18th December at the Robin Park Arena in Wigan and will be headed by Tony Quigley with at least another 8 fights. JOLLY BOYS This years event takes place again at the DeVere whites in Bolton on the 19th December and will have 4 fights including the debut of John Quigley.
LP ....John will be boxing at Super- Bantamweight and was a very good amateur with a few England vests. Felix...not sure about Blaine , he is with Joe Pennington and guested on a few VIP shows when we have been in his area . Back at the Veledrome early next year so will probably ask him to fight on that one.
Any thoughts on Place's next opponent? Nice to see that the lads he's been in with have some form, even if it's not great. You can guage how good they are rather than the Eurobums. I'd look at someone like Lynes or Morrison for him.
WRIMC...Brett still with VIP but had time out of the gym due to outside commitments , been told he will be back soon. BEESTON...Need to find out if Karl to be a Lightweight or a Lightwelter , if the bigger one then the 2 fighters you mentioned should be OK in 3 more fights , just a little to seasoned for now. Karl is only young and needs a bit more experience and rounds before we let him go .
He'd be tall for a lightweight :yikes Good young fighter.... looking forward to seeing how he progresses :good I think Lynes is on the downside for sure, Morrison might have a bit left.... McDonagh might be good next up, can definitely take him ten hard rounds :yep Or Barrie Jones?
