Dan Rafael is saying the Latimore-Quintana fight has been moved from May 4 on ESPN to the Mayweather-Cotto card on May 5.

This was a good ESPN fight but I'm not blown away by it being part of an already so-so undercard for that ppv. I like it better than seeing another Ponce DeLeon fight like was mentioned but, overall, not a great undercard.

Agree, not an especially good opener for the PPV. Quintana looks to be near finished and Latimore is basically a fringe contender at 154 that's already had several chances to rise higher that were unsuccessful.

damn, I guess they couldn't find an alternative. So it's?

    Mayweather vs Cotto
    Canelo vs Mosley
    Vargas vs Gomez
    Latimore vs Quitana

Quintana is done and Latimore should cruise to a wide UD or late stoppage of him, but Latimore also has an abysmal Chin, so there is always that possibility......

Yeah, this was a nice fit for ESPN but on ppv where the card is already ok but nothing special isn't a good fit. I wonder if the idea is to face the winner here with Alvarez.

I think( and could be wrong) that Latimore has signed with Mayweather and Alvarez wants a Mayweather shot so giving a guy like Latimore(if he wins) a big payday with Alvarez helps towards an eventual Mayweather-Alvarez match up.

I like the idea that the tv portion of the card will be spotlighting 1 division for at least 3 bouts.

Strange fight, Latimore is a guy who manages to stay high in the IBF ranks, which have created a Spinks and Latimore circle jerk

well any way im shocked he is taking a guy like Quintana who always seems to come out of the wood work and pull an upset

Latimores a good boxer, But his chin is horrible, Quintana hasn't been looking too bad yet so I think he stops Latimore late. Decent fight I guess.

I like this fight...... not sure what folks are complaining about with the undercard....seems a like a pretty damn good undercard to me. Canelo vs Mosley is worthy of it's own card......Vargas vs Gomez is a good young prospect up against his stiffest test and Latimore vs Quintana is sure to be good as both have glass jaws, if Quintana has anything left he outboxes Latimore quite easily imo but he is chinny and Latimore can bang. I think this is great card, one of the best undercards for a PPV in ages.

Latimore was just smoked by a can crushed from S America on a weeks notice. He somehow pulled out the win, but was definitely saved a TKO by the ref who should have stopped it multiple times. :bbb

I'd prolly buy the PPV for that rematch though:nut

Not a bad fight. Both seem pretty even. Big Quintana fan...and Latimore is ok.

i like this fight and the whole card . alvarez vs mosley is a good PPV undercard fight just cuz its an entertaining match up. if it were a main event it would be horrible because mosley has no future but retirement sooner then later. an all the other fights are solid. im interested if mayweathers boys vargas n latimore willl win . i dont think either are nething special especially latimore he could very well lose to quintana , he almost jst lost on shobox
