    Last I saw De Jesus, he was shell shocked by all of Gamboa's speed. His current demise is much more methodical.

    Should MAB press the attack, he ought be able to get him out of there, I think.

    He looks good for someone who's not fought in over a year and who is in his mid 30s...but he's about 30% of what he used to be. I don't really like seeing this version. His body punching is nice, he still has a good jab, but his legs are gone, doesn't have the same snap, and would not fair well against a Humberto Soto.

    Barrera should not be fighting at this weight and this opponent isnt helping him look good either.He should loose 5Lbs and have a final blood bath with Soto

    More hooking off the jab from MAB. DJ still moving but less coal in the fire in his legs. DJ pecking with jabs and getting outpunched.

    Round 9

    MAB jabs with DJ, and leading on his own. MAB now headhunting a bit, perhaps feeling satisfied with having softened DJ up to the body through 8. Jabs and hooks up high from MAB. DJ tries jabbing to the body and can't get through clean without being countered. They hook together and both take a step back. Wild hook and looping right combo from DJ before the bell.

    sorry but for those of you praising his body attack, yall don't know **** about body punching. IMO, barera's so called body punching has always been vastly overrated.

    How many fights of Barrera have you seen, and explain to me in detail why you think it is overrated?

    Tenth and final round.

    MAB with double jabs. 1-2 from MAB, then a lead right to the body. DJ hooks hard at the ear of MAB. DJ taps the body of MAB with a right and tries to bring up a high hook while MAB is distracted. MAB slips a rushing DJ attack and grabs him as DJ runs into him. Double hook from MAB. DJ standing in front of him now, and MAB moving laterally and jabbing him. DJ punches over the head of Barrera and gets grabbed around the middle. MAB lets him go and postures. More jabs in the face of DJ. A shoeshine to the face of DJ. Jab to the gloves, and then a right hand over the top from MAB. DJ winds up on the ropes and MAB opens up on him. DJ misses a low hook. Then a high one. MAB picking his spots, laying back. He quadruples jabs at the face of DJ and it's all over.

    The gr8 Barrera's boxing is still there but he's a shadow of his former self,hard to see him beating Soto at this point but u never know.
    Marco is winning with ease in this one.
    The ring card girls are among the best I've ever seen.
