    landed some really clean blows, each guys had their moments though. Duddy lacks defense

    The ref lies and tells them it's for the WBC title. It's for the WBC Silver title.

    Round 1

    Duddy moves swiftly to the middle of the ring. Chavez begins to circle. Duddy plants a jab in the face of Chavez. Duddy mixing in some lead rights and short hooks as he pressures Chavez. Chavez moving and covering up with both arms. Chavez countering with right hands and hooks. Duddy has a right blocked and brings the hook around, tripled up, but mostly hits the other gloves of Chavez. Duddy jabs in and gets a counter right on the cheek. Chavez jabs, takes a Duddy lead right, and counters with a hook. Duddy doubling his jab and following with right hands but not landing clean - not missing badly, either.

    Tight round, goes to Chavez on the better connections although Duddy was making the fight.

    Chavez is better than people think and Duddy is worse. I was actually fairly impressed with JC in his last outing. He kept a good workman-like pace, worked body and head, decent enough pop, decent defense, remained in range. A solid pro. He'll never be special like his father, but he can fight.

    Duddy firing straight in with jabs and rights. Chavez using lateral steps to get out of the way of and/or roll with most of it. Nice right hand from Chavez. They exchange stiff jabs. Chavez takes a short right hand from Duddy but Duddy's feet weren't set, not much on it. Chavez has a 1-2 blocked. Duddy jabs at Chavez, who languishes on the ropes. Duddy opens up on him but doesn't get anything in that hurts him.
