Duddy pulled a srl and stole the rd in the last 30 seconds. I think chavez jr cant miss with the left hook, but duddy can push him to the ropes and work him over

Chavez 2-0. Cleaner and more effective. Close round.

Dunno why Chavez laid on the ropes like that, it made Duddy look good and may have given him the round.

Gross exaggeration, Addie. He landed better for sure, but not everything he threw...and in the first minute or so he didn't have much output.

Duddy doing good work with Chavez on the ropes, although when Jr lands his shots are generally flush.

2nd to Duddy in a close rnd.

    1-1

John Duddy is entertaining if nothing else.

I'm not watching the fight, but from what I'm reading, it doesn't look good for Junior. He's connecting, but he can't back Duddy up. One of Duddy's key weaknesses is that he doesn't have the strength of a world class middleweight; if Junior doesn't have the goods to exploit that weakness, then Junior is in for trouble.

    Round 3

They start to trade in close quarters now. Chavez hook to the body. Duddy weaving, moving his head - of course, he's doing this while Chavez isn't punching - practice, maybe? They go toe-to-toe, shoulder-to-shoulder and Duddy rips a couple of uppercuts toward the chin of Chavez. Julio keeps working the right hand after each step backward. Duddy tries to stay on top of him and encourage the infighting. Big right hand snaps Duddy's head. Then a Chavez hook. Duddy shoeshines at the face of Chavez at short range. Chavez has his hands down but quickly brings them up to absorb the quick little shots. Chavez uses his long legs to take big steps back and counter.

    Chavez round; 29-28 Chavez

Chavez really working his left jab well, he wont hat round easily with the jab alone. Duddy is a sucker for a straight punch. Duddy landed some nice short punches but not enough
