Round 3

Villa working Sanchez backward, firing overhand rights and jabs and making Sanchez skip away. Sanchez doing very little countering, letting Villa control the ring.

Shitload? Two after the one in progress. Five of the nine fights listed on boxrec were on the untelevised undercard.

 

Round 4

Sanchez still light on his toes but moving his hands now. Villa invites him to trade, and Sanchez leans against him and works to the body, with his own turned to the side, shoulder-to-shoulder with Villa. Sanchez keeps moving and throwing lead rights, and Villa pesters him, crouching and swinging his way inside. Sanchez wrestles him and pushes him away, and gains distance with his feet. Villa advances straight at him, and gets countered but doesn't slow down. Villa pushes a jab into the stomach of Sanchez, and stays on him. Sanchez lands a three punch combination while backing up. Sanchez now back to the ropes and Villa lands a right hand, followed up by body shots with both hands. Sanchez slides down into a corner and keeps getting hit in the body. Sanchez ducks down and puts his shoulder out to lean against Villa, then pushes off.

Round 5

Sanchez standing his ground a bit now and opening up. Stuns Villa with a right. They stand and trade a bit, with Sanchez hopping out of the pocket every few seconds. Villa lands a loud counter hook that cracks on Sanchez's skull. Sanchez arm-punches his way backwards and into the ropes as Villa presses. Both go to the bodies. Villa hooking his way in. Sanchez takes a hard hook to the body as he turns into Villa - may have been illegal, near the kidney. It's becoming a bit messy now, lots of infighting and little of it clean.

 

All that's left after three more rounds of Sanchez-Villa (assuming it goes the full eight) is Raul Martinez vs. Gabriel Elizondo and Barrera vs. De Jesus. Both are ten-rounders...so we're looking at a little more than an hour of fighting, plus ring-walks and whatnot.
