Bout time he stopped it. Man, Martinez ****ed Elizondo up. That was a great performance.

    Round 7

Elizondo back in a defensive shell, circling outside. Martinez works in a couple of jabs to find range but Elizondo not obliging him by staying still. Right hand and hook to the body combo from Martinez. Elizondo zig-zags between two sets of ropes and Martinez sways side to side as he walks him down into the corner. Elizondo lands a right uppercut. Martinez walks him back out to the middle of the ring and lands an enormous right off a jab that sends Elizondo under the bottom rope. Goodnight!

That was a premature stoppage the guy popped right back up and looked like he had his legs back.

That was my first exposure to Martinez and he was quite impressive.

Martinez right hand stuck out from the beginning to me, in out he throws is perfectly down the middle then mixes it up with the overhand looping one.

Are you out of your mind? It was the third knockdown in as many rounds and he was getting ****ed up without so much as a puncher's chance left to him.

And in his only loss, Donaire whipped his ass. He is real quality and fun to watch in my opinion though.

To think that Donaire beat Martinez with such ease.

That should give more credit on Donaire who dominated Martinez. Who says Donaire was fighting bums?

Yes he should. If Martinez keeps that up, Donaire may end up finally getting some credit for that win.

He certainly has my attention now. I'll be looking out for him in the future.
