Lets get one started, not a spectacular night of fights but a good one for the hardcore boxing fan and an exciting one if you are either Mex,Pinoy or Boricua.

montiel would join a long list of mexican who fall in the past 365 days.

What was the biggest win of Mexico in the past year?

Maybe if montiel would win, it would be the biggest win for mexico in the last 12 months since JMM dropped juan diaz last feb 28

They can shove this PPV **** where the sun doesn't shine. This is ridiculous. I was under the impression all day Gerry P was on regular HBO and it's PPV. Whine, whine, grumble, grumble.

I hope Santiago-Concepcion would be a war. Juanma would most likely be watching at ringside

Im only really looking forward to the Penalosa fight.

I consider him a marginable underdog in his fight with Morel. It would be nice for him to retire a long career with the title in hand.

Gerry Penalosa is one of my favorite fighters of all time. There's nothing I'd like more than for him to win a belt tonight. It'd make my week.

i just wish gerry would just concentrate on 122 division. He needs to be a three division champ to get a shot in the hall of fame.

He maybe old but remember he was able to get a 2 year off and is always in shape in and out of the gym for his entire career which spans more than 2 decades

More stupid ass logic from you, Asero. All you care about is statistics, everything is so black and white with you. Maybe Gerry wants to fight 2-3 more fights and win another title at Bantamweight. There have been 2 weight world champions in the past who don't have the talent Gerry had at his best. Edwin Valero is a 2 weight world champion. What does it mean? **** all.

Nick Charles, Al Bernstein, and Steve Farhood are calling the fights.

    Concepcion-Santiago up first.

Slow pace early in the first round

Neither fighter really landed anything until that last 10 secs, Concepcion landed some good headshots.

    Rd.1 Concepcion

    Pacman in the house

Mexico sure is in a bad state, maybe the worst state it has ever been who knows, but its still stronger than the Phillipines, which according to you is in its "golden era"

Santiago is showing a lot of respect for Concepcion's power. Concepcion was landing a bodyshot here and there through out but Santiago finally let his hands go towards the end when he had Concepcion against the ropes.

    very close round

    I lean towards to Concepcion

    2-0 Bernabe
