Second round of the tournament with Antonio"Kid Pambele" Cervantes coming off of his boxing lesson of Fernando Vargas. Facing the tough "King" Carlos Palomino, who had just wore down Miguel Cotto in a brutale war. 15 Rounds.

Well this is a fight i think Cervantes could win, BUT, he's smaller. I'm leaning towards Palomino because of that fact combined with the style he employs, not ready yet though.

If Cervantes could stick & move. And avoid to gruelling body attack of Palomino, he has a chance.

I would look for Palomino to use his body attack to weardown Cervantes & score points late to get a decision win.

Cervantez trys to keep the fight long and is sucessful early behind his jab using long combos, in the mid rounds Palominos strength and body work starts to come through and Cervantez just cant do anything about it and gets stopped late

Palomino is going to smash the naturally smaller man with body shots.

    Palomino 5th round stoppage.
