I think Gavilan would beat most of those guys. Napoles and Duran right up there too.

Both Cervantes and Ortiz would get battered against Cuevas and Trinidad IMO. Most of those guys are just too big and strong IMO.

Campas was durable and not much else. His power is overrated.

Cotto is very, very good but Palomino for one would stop him. Palomino would stop a lot of those guys IMO, and I think he would beat De La Hoya and Trinidad too, although I feel Oscar may be able to sneak and decision and Trinidad may be able to land enough artillery to keep Carlos honest. Just enough.

With the right draw, Benitez might just win as well.

Intriguing, it'll be interesting to see how the tourney falls.

PLEASE; wait until we're into the later stages of the other three. Fantasy match overload at the moment, and I think everyone would agree.

I've decided to hang on until the end of the LW/MW and Fly tournaments before I post my preliminaries; just a suggestion :good

Margarito was really, really good for one night and very well may have cheated. Again, he's durable.

I put out two teaser fights for now. This will be a great Tourney. I will suspend this Tourney until the conclusion of the other Tournaments in circulation right now. But please feel free to vote on the the first two bouts!

    Have done :good

Not quite sure on the inclusion of Ortiz and Cervantes, but others may disagree and it is A FRESH DEBATE!!!!!

Palomino-Cotto I was thinking of recently; Palomino is quite underrated IMO, he was solid and formidable. One of Duran's best ever wins IMO, very impressive and he dropped the iron-chinned monster!!!

Well Chavez was ineffective at Welterweight. I could have put Jose Luis Lopez or Genaro Leon or possibly Crisanto Espana. Or I was thinking of a slimmed down version of Tony Ayala Jr. But two exceptional Non-Mexican fighters(There's enough in already) to step up & possibly do well in the Touney. to stir things up, I thought was a pretty good idea.:thumbsup

Tony Ayala JR is a nobody. If he was forced to make Welter most of these guys would've beaten him handily IMO.
