Who else is SICK AND TIRED of hearing ggg fans talk about "nobody wants to fight him" which is why he picks on harmless plodders like murray, geale, adama, rubio, etc...

that's a BS rationalization for continuing to protect an overrated, overhyped fighter....

i'm launching a campaign to get ggg to finally step up and show what he can do against some real comp...ggg fans should be down with this too since they think their man is better than marvin hagler and joe louis.

Fact is, there's A LOT of competition for ggg at mw... guys who have no problem stepping in with him but haven't had the opportunity. the guys i'm thinking about are danny jacobs, david lemieux and hassan ndam....how come there's nobody clamoring for him to fight those guys?....they're all mw....they all have damn good records, world titles, regional titles etc. they each bring exceptional qualities to the table...power, counterpunching, etc. they're ALL a whole lot better than ANYBODY ggg has fought so far.

so what if cotto won't fght ggg?... titles don't mean a whole lot in boxing anymore. if ggg fights the best and beats them, HE will be recognized as the real champ and cotto will have to chase HIM...all ggg has to do is beat all three of those guys with quillin waiting in the wings.

so, I need y'all to join me in my campaign to get ggg to finally take on some real challenges and start earning some of that overblown hype...if you have a twitter or a facebook you should be sniping away at ggg's people and the promoters to get him in the ring with some real competition for a change. let them know this is what real fans want...let's make it happen!

This thread sums up the hate GGG gets and its from a small group of mainly black posters who are jealous of the attention he gets.

N'Dam was exposed as a bum so no need to fight him.

btw, i'm the one who said after the lemieux-ndam fight that ggg would ko lemieux because lemieux was too easy to hit and had suspect chin. but ndam would be a good test for ggg, because ggg is slow and methodical and ndam is a good counterpuncher.

Lemiex knocked out N'Dam and GGG knocked out Lemiex so I don't think fighting N'Dam is a high priority. I'd rather GGG fight Saunders, Jacobs, or Canelo.

no...lemieux didn't ko ndam...he dropped him a buncha times...that's because lemieux is a big puncher and he has very quick hands. but ndam came back from every kd to batter lemieux and almost ko lemieux. it was a back and forth war...a fight of the year candidate. ggg doesn't have lemieux's speed. ndam would see the punches coming better and counter ggg. ggg's weaknesses play into ndam's strengths. anyway, ndam would be a whole lot better than wade or tureano or monroe or adama or rubio or the rest of the garbage ggg has fought or plans to fight.

i agree jacobs and saunders or canelo would be good fights. but all ggg has to do to get those fights is this:

- shed 5 lbs and fight canelo

- make a deal with jacobs 50-50 and maybe a rematch clause to sweeten the pot.

- make a deal with saunders...50-50 etc.

ggg is not willing to do any of those things because nobody is pressuring him to prove himself. they're happy with the monroes and wades. nobody even gives a schit he's not gonna fight canelo next...he'll fight johnson or some other bum.

Jacobs is a mandatory for GGG. Why the hell does he have to give a good deal to Jacobs? If Jacobs isn't willing to fight for the guaranteed 25% then he's ducking.

Offering more to Saunders makes sense because Saunders doesn't have to fight GGG.

Canelo is a super welterweight who shouldn't be fighting at middleweight. If he doesn't want to fight at 160 he should be stripped of his WBC title and it should be given to GGG. Canelo should also be stripped of the lineal and RING title as well.
