Does anyone remember this French 154 pounder? I always thought he was underrated. while he was never an all time great... he was solid... How do u think he would do in todays junior middleweight division?

Good fighter. He is mostly remembered for beating Norris but at that point Norris was past his prime. To me his most impressive wins were against Guillermo Jones and Javier Castillo.

Caught my attention when he crossed the Channel and took apart the teak tough and then streaking Andy Till. He seemed to have that 'je ne sais quoi' quality. To then beat Castillejo and Vazquez was very good form for the era. And although on paper the Norris win was his best, Terry was shot to pieces and did well to last the nine rounds.

Finally to add a little bit more to his resume indirectly, there is a very strong argument to say the classy Reid's best pro win was the victory over the Frenchman.

He tagged Reid a lot with the right hand. Reid's chin held up in that fight for whatever reason.
