I have alwasy known this and said so a number of times.

It is also why a 6'5" man boils down to cruiser rather than fights at heavy.

I just watched the "highlights" of this travesty of a match. Where did they find this Bingham-Smith guy, in a bar somewhere? Awful boxer. Okolie is.....I really can't find the words to describe how terrible this guy is.

This bout made Fury-Wlad look like Dempsey-Firpo by comparison.

Well damn. Didn’t even know this fight was happening. I’m glad the octopus lost. I need to find it on YouTube now to savor this….

Chisora, Whyte, Yarde, Joshua, Joyce, Okalie ... weird how all these hyped fighters in the UK keep getting exposed as nothing special. There's definitely some kind of pattern here, though I can't quite put my finger on it.

There was more than enough fouling in the first 3 rounds to have disqualified him.

But at least we finally saw a referee on UK soil hold him to account for his blatant fouling. It was not just the holding either. When he had Smith clinched he was using his forearm, he was rabbit punching. Completely illegal.

Let’s not forget he got away with a very similar performance against Isaac Chamberlain a lot earlier in his career. He didn’t receive a single point deduction for that.

Let’s see what Okolipus does next: we have another Alinwande here. We now know the terminally boring style is coming out every time he gets into a real fight.

If Shalom wants a quick out on this disaster, he should make him move up to HW and shift him off the USA where he won’t have British referees. That should end his obligations to Okolipus.

He don't even deserve a thread like this.

He is irrelevant now and I hope it will stay that way for the rest of his career

Forget about Okolie, how could that judge score the fight 112 - 112?

actually 112 112 with 5 deductions is 8 - 3 - 1 drawn round(10-10) So They only gave CBS the three rounds he knocked him down in.
    (112 +5 is 117, which is losing only 3 rounds from a perfect 120)

Dilliany Shyte knocks Okolie clean out as bad and as shot as he is. Okolie trying to grab against physical heavyweights is gonna be hilarious.

Could you imagine him trying these tactics against someone like Makhmudov, Zhang or Joyce.

Okolie probably had 15lbs on Billam-Smith last night.

He obviously didn’t hold well enough considering he got decked 3 times! If you gonna hold on then at least hold on properly for goodness sake. Akinwande could give him a few lessons in that department…he did it so well he got a DQ rather than a KO haha!

They're probably being hyped as they get domestic success. But as soon as they fight a solid foreign boxer, the hype ends.
