Fight should happen early. Who cares if either loses, they will come back having learned more in a defeat than destroying Eastern European cab drivers. Anyway, no one saw the OD-Taylor fight coming and a lot on here felt that the fight could wait a bit. Also, who's to say Okolie wouldn't get chinned by a lesser fighter first, thereby taking away from the Chamberlain fight. If both fighters are up for it, let them fight, absolutely no point padding records against crap opponents. Okolie has had three first round KOs against really crap opponents, what exactly has he learned from them, having competed in Olympics and WSB?

Hearn would probably build this up for another year, thats what he sounded like he wanted to do in his ifl tv interview about it

Chamberlain would rock okolie when he catches him and probably stop him at this stage of their careers

Totally agree mate. Plus, let's say Okolie did win impressively...then he has a decent win early on and can justify some of the hype. I've never understood why most guys have to be 12-0 before they can fight someone half decent

Think sexton and chisora had similar records when they fought

Trouble is most fighters in the early stages of their career don't want to take any risks unless they are being paid well, even if this is a headline to a nextgen type show I don't know if the money generated from that would be enough for both guys to risk their 0. Just watched an interview from Chamberlain and he used the old cliche "if the money is right" when asked about this fight. I personally don't see this fight happening until much further down the line, hope i'm wrong though as these sort of fights we need more of in British boxing, but the problem is fighters hold too much value into their undefeated records.

This should happen this year as chief support on the Bellew-Haye undercard. Absolutely quality fight and so long as Chamberlain wins this Friday just make the damn fight. Eddie let OD fight Taylor early so let Okolie with all his WSB experience get the test (and brutal arse whooping) he deserves.

Can't wait to see this, it's going to be lights-out for Okolie.
