Yes fair play to Okolie I really thought he would avoid Askin. I don’t like Okolie’s gangly awkward style and I don’t think I’ll ever become a fan but he’s definitely winning me over very slowly by the way he’s going about his business. To beat Chamberlain, Watkins and then Askins on the trot would be impressive and then he has every right to consider himself above British level.
He’s not the best but I think he’s a lot better than he looks and as I’ve said about Yarde and OD, Okolie has that power which can be an equaliser to his technical deficiencies. His range is a huge advantage too.
