The popular opinion is that Okolie is terrible but none of the other cruiserweight champions are in a rush to fight him in Britain. And for good reason: he's got a biased scorecards and a bodyguard referee along with being 6'5, having a longer reach than Joshua and probably 220+ lbs in the ring with good strength and power and decent boxing ability from range. He officially beat the tough Cieslak (who would be among Usyk's weaker post-Glowacki cruiser opponents but not the weakest) 8-4 with a KD, so his institutional advantages, size and power put him in an elite bracket in his weight division. He may well have a weak chin (or not: perhaps he's just extremely risk-averse) but weak chin or not, if you bring the Klitschko-Povetkin Greco-Roman tactics to every fight against a much smaller man then you're going to be very difficult to beat. All of his 19 fights have been in Britain and I don't see that changing any time soon. If it does I'll suspect the foreign officials have been paid off. Does anyone believe he'll fight Opetaia in Australia with a referee deducting points for his fouling early and often? With judges who will at least slightly favour Opetaia? Unlikely.
