I always felt Hearn should have kept CBS.

He has done his part perfectly tonight. Just need the authorities to act accordingly with Conor now and then faith in British boxing can be restored

To be fair to Hearn it probably wasn't his choice. When you have a choice to join the UKs biggest sports channel / production that most homes in the UK have and you wanted to build your profile its an absolute no brainer. Looks like along with his hard work it is a move which is really bearing fruit for CBS now. Fair play to him, he seems a really genuine, likable guy

Okolie needs to pay people to watch him. Terrible to watch. Non-stop clinch and hold, very ugly style. The ref was very busy today. Meanwhile fair play to Eggington, excellent performance against Pigford.

Shalom will be pleased with the CBS win and Okolie then, after the re-match, moves up to Heavyweight as this is the eventual plan.

Can't see Okolie making any dent at Heavyweight though.

2 Rounds in and I was amazed that Okolie hasn't had 1 point deducted for excessive holding the back of CBSs head whilst punching.

2nd KD was a farce, the Ref got that wrong 100%.

Not convinced the 3rd was a KD either.

Terrific (in an 'Arry stylee cos it's in Bournemouth) atmosphere. Give the fans and SKY credit here.

Well done CBS even if the antics of Okolie helped him massively.

Lastly, Okolie spoke well and graciously in the ring post fight - respect.

Spot on analysis. A great summary of what happened. Going forward CBS now has a really good fan base and the confidence of that victory. For Okolie, I just hope he learns from that defeat and re-invents himself as someone who is fun to watch, underneath all the hugging there is clearly some talent

The difference in how those 2 handle defeat are polar opposites aren't they. One showed dignity, respect and admiration, the other somehow tries to make it about "me,me,me" is disrespectful and utterly classless.
