Lawrence Okolie vs. Chris Billam-Smith & Sam Eggington vs. Joseph Pigford RBR.

Okolie was knocked down by punches that I would expect any durable heavyweight to walk through.

Once Okolie moves up, I expect him to be Mick Conland a few times.

 

It's mad. Okolie would have been favourite against anyone in the division provided he didn't leave London. Briedis and Opetaia didn't want it (understandably so given what Okolie gets away with). CBS did what the proven top cruisers clearly weren't confident of doing.

CBS is a very underrated fighter. I could see a cruiserweight Haye going for an early KO against him thinking he's easy work, gassing badly and getting the 40+ Carl Thompson treatment.

 

Yeah. His chin is pure granite. And he's improved and improved throughout the years. Mcguigan has done a great job with him

Serious pain and tears awaits Okolie at Heavyweight going down with those punches at Cruiserweight.

His boxing style looks more suitable to wrestling.

 

Not sure he can do much with the Octopus tbf. Even after knockdowns and point deductions he couldn’t change his approach. If Sugar is overrated I wouldn’t judge it on coaching Okolie.

 

I don't think Beale's negative, we've all just got different opinions on this which is good.

We can all agree that Okolie is better at boxing than rapping.
