    Same in the second round. Gomez's plan is completely wrong. When you have such a big reach advantage you only have to be inside the distance when you are throwing, if you are not going to throw, then you shouldnt be inside the distance. But Gómez insinsts on being at his oponent's range without throwing. Just looking for hooks and body punching, or just looking for a war that is not going to happen. His oponent just jabs him and moves, winning the rounds. Stupid strategy.

    Similar pattern from the first two. Non stop jabs from Giles, countering with left and right hooks. Gomez pins him and lands a right. Giles goes to the body. Giles jabbing, then following up with left hooks to the temple. Giles pressing forward now, landing one twos and uppercuts. Giles back to jabbing. Giles gets pinned on the ropes, and explodes off of them with combos.

    It looks like that the batlle that Gómez is looking for will happen. Well, that's even better, tons of fun. But I insist that Gómez using ONLY straight punches and abusing his reach advantage would be better for him.

    This is how I have it. Remember Gomez Jr is the home fighter and coming forward throwing a lot more, meaning the judges may have it to him right now even though a lot would disagree.

    Giles jabbing and clipping him with hooks, then moves off to the left. Rinse and repeat. A right lands from Gomez. And a few more. Giles still landing left hooks. Giles jabbing to the head and body now. Gomez jabbing much better now, then goes to the body. Giles goes to the middle of the ring, and starts throwing combos.

    IN this latest round gómez threw only straight punches. Moderate success, but the right strategy imho. He looks like a bit frustrated while doing so. His body asks him for a war in the short distance.
