Giles is starting to come forward now, head down, working the body and landing uppercuts. Then Gomez returns the favor. Giles slips in the corner. Giles stands his ground, both teeing off. Giles outworked him.

Giles planting his feet far more, starting to land hooks up top. Giles going to the body now. Giles landed the far better jab. Head down, Giles back him to the ropes, plugging away. Giles eats a straight right. They hold. Gomez gets him along the ropes, missing with almost everything. Giles jabbing to the body.

Read the warning in the opening post.... it says NO SPOILERS!

Doesn't shock me though, I picked him to win by KO, and I rarely go against Baluta.

Giles is superior on the backfoot, and increasingly on the front foot as well. Giles landing some heavy left hooks. Both men landing combinations and having spells of success. Massive right late from Giles.

Gomez's uncouth behaviour at the weigh in was not befitting of a Englishman and he's jolly lucky that none of the members of the gentlemen's club I'm a longtime member of were in attendance at the time because he would've been on the recieving end of a sharp biff on the nose and a face full of pipe smoke
