Okolie is a tough one because he’s got knock out power and a glass chin, in theory he should always be in entertaining fights but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to transpire.

NotOkolie has knockout power against opponents who come for the money with no intention of getting involved in a boxing match.

As has been mentioned, he’s lucky the division he’s in is so lacking in depth that he’s in little danger of facing anybody with any meaningful talent.

 

He might have his fair share of haters on here, but Tony Bellew was a much better CW than Okolie.

 

Bellew was miles better.

 

More entertaining, not sure he’d have beaten him though. As dull as okolie is, he is effective.

Just read another sentence not even paragraph this time and saw he was being booed haha. Why would anyone watch this guy. I don’t think he even comes across as a nice lad or anything to redeem matters. Same old same old with him. Shocking.

I love that narrative, that he was a real life even more far fetched version of Rocky Balboa and got his big chance, if Okolie had an ounce of marketable personality the Hollywood film script is already written for him. Still, he's got his rap career to fall back on.

Okolie is an awkward man to beat and that's all he has going for him, he's so boring, style wise and talking. That whole show was just awful, and the Gomez Jr vs Giles fight result was f*ckin awful
