I was actually starting to warm a tad to Okolie after the Glowacki performance because he didn't octopus grab (albeit he could just use his length against the short-armed much smaller and lighter Glowacki), but I'll root against him every single time until he hangs up his gloves now. The Askin, Ngabu, and this fight really pissed me off something rotten.

I might create a Twitter account with the handle ''I Would Rather Watch Women's Boxing Than Lawrence Okolie'' to troll Okolie

Round 1 Gill 10-9, very close

Gill comes out aggressive, throwing tight one twos, most connecting, he's pushing Guerfi back, Guergi times him with two left hooks, Gill backs off, Guerfi lands a lunging straight right, which rocks Gill slightly as he's pulling back with his head up, Guerfi on teh front foot now, Gill patiently looking for opening, goes back to jabbing, lands a few rights to the body, Guerfi with another right up top. Hard to split them, but Gill was slightly more active.

Round 1 Gill 10-9, very close
    Round 2 Gill 10-9

Much better round for Gill, he didn't come in in straight lines, varied up his attack, jabbing to teh body, landing several one twos, jabbing a lot more. Gill still got caught with a handful of heavy straight rights and Guerfi landed a nice left hook to the body and straight right combo.

Round 1 Gill 10-9, very close
    Round 2 Gill 10-9
    Round 3 Gill 10-9

Really good round from Gill, he's jabbing much better, driving him back with it to the ropes, starting to land in combination,Guerfi in retreat most of the round, looking for that counter left hook, only landed it a time or two, Gill's bouncing just out of range causing him to miss and rolling with it now.

    Round 2 Gill 10-9
    Round 3 Gill 10-9
    Round 4 Gill 10-9

Pretty excellent round for Gil, pressed the action throughout, controlled the range well, landing his jabs to the body and combinations up top, hen bouncing back out of range without taking much punishment. Guergi landed a handful or weak counters, Gill pushed him down, he caught the ropes to kept him from hitting the canvass fully.

    Round 3 Gill 10-9
    Round 4 Gill 10-9
    Round 5 Gill 10-9

Gill being very aggressive pinning Guerfi on the ropes, starting to load up on his combinations. Guerfi starting to time him with a counter, goes for it, Gill slips it and counters him, Guerfi is hurt, he backs to the ropes, Gill going for the kill. Hey... that rhymed.:D Guerfi rolling with many of the shots and shelling up, but still taking punishment. He weathers the storm. Gill lands a low blow and gets a warning, Guerfi gets some time. Guerfi tags him with a gook or two, but Gill fires back with some solid body work.

    Round 4 Gill 10-9
    Round 5 Gill 10-9
    Round 6 Guerfi 10-9

Guerfi giving him far more lateral movement this round, not giving him as easy a target. He's improved his defense, giving him a lot more head and upper body movement, landing straight rights and the occasional counter left hook. Gill getting frustrated lunging in, Guerfi bobbing and weaving, GIll goes back to the jab. Guerfi goes for it, lands a nasty one tw, Gill hurt, he's following up on it with a sustained attack for the last 30 seconds of the round, pounding GIll with heavy hooks in close.

    Round 4 Gill 10-9
    Round 5 Gill 10-9
    Round 6 Guerfi 10-9
    Round 7 Guerfi 10-8

Gill looking a little frustrated, pushing the pace, Guerfi avoiding most of the incoming fire, and landing counters hooks on an overeager Gill. Gill trying to get his jab back on track, but the movement and evasiveness of Guerfi is presenting him with a much harder target to find. Finally Gill lands something, Guerfi backs to the ropes, Gill throwing in combination, Guerfi slips most of them, then moves along the ropes and back to the center of the ring. something happened that cause Guerfi to offer his glove as an apology, Gill doesn't tap it, he then lunges in, Guerfi clips him with a sharp left hook to the jaw, down goes Gill, he rises to his feet looking out of it. Guerfi goes for the kill, unloading a barrage of punches, Gill lunges in to grab and hld, Guerfi drops him with a picture perfect Jake The Snake Roberts spike DDT, Gill looked gooned as ****, yo can almost see the the Tweetie Birds flying around his head. Gill wanders off, looking badly dazed. What a ****ing round.
