Dull isn’t it. He also released a book which was a bit puzzling considering his profile.

He just lacks a bit of X-factor unfortunately. Something you either have or you don’t - Fowler is the same.

 

If I had a DAZN subscription I'd be cancelling it. Absolute dross. Just hours and hours of Bellew and Hearn talking followed by dull one sided fights.

 

And he's a weight bully.

 

They really need to crack down on excessive clinching in boxing. And implement the points penalty much quicker.

 

Ron McIntosh stepped into Costello's shoes and he did a good job of making the fight sound like it could even be exciting whilst making it clear that it looked dreadful. During the round breaks George Groves and Steve Bunce provided moral support and clued the listeners in on how Ron was making it easy for them. That poor man!

Of course he wasn't entirely without fault. At one point he mentioned the Isaac Chamberlain Okolie fight without including a trigger warning but once I'd found my brown paper bag and breathed in and out in it for a minute I was good to continue.

 

I looked it up on Amazon. It looks a bit hollow, with the same phrases you hear plastered over social media such as "anything is possible".

That last night was a disgrace. It really was bad.

 

Plus he looks like a horse.

 

Put DAZN on at 2200 expecting the main fight to commence only to see it had ended. Was annoyed with myself.

Just read this thread through though and my poor timing last night turns out to have been an absolute, by default, masterstroke!

 

okolie should be banned from being shown on telly ever again unless hes in with a heavyweight who is likely to knock him out in a few rounds.

 

Just vapid rubbish. I just think he’s a bit dull.. seems to be a recurring theme with the 2016 Olympians who turned over.

 

The desperation in Briedis for that Jake Paul money was excruciating to watch. Have some self-respect man.

Yes, Okolie is not worth watching even though I think he can give the vast majority of heavyweights big problems due to his unorthodox boxing style.

What will Eddie Hearn use Fowler for ? He does not turn into anything.

Nice debut fight by Yafai but he does not sell any tickets.

I do not believe Eddie Hearn will spend much energy on Jordan Gill after he was balancing on the brink of defeat.

All in all, not a big boxing night.

 

There are ways for boxers to avoid their opponent from excessive clinching, e.g. sticking your head into his face every time he does it to you. He'll soon get the message.
