Dorticos is over the hill because he was not able to beat old Briedis? Nope, he even is 1 year 2 months younger than Briedis and I think he is now lesser " old " than Briedis.
Prime Usyk barely won younger Briedis version and prime Gassiev had worked very hard 11 rounds plus 2min 52 sec in 12 th round to finish Dorticos.

Dorticos btw was a bit underdog before fight vs Kudra and he won this vis stoppage in 2 nd round. He threw also hooks vs Kudra.
Then Tabiti, who is pretty skilled and not bad boxer, Dorticos had beat him and stopped him.

I don't know shape they now are but Dorticos does have 80 in reach on paper and this might make Octopuse far more problems than maybe even Makabu.

 

He announced move up to HW after WBSS1 final. Then he had been injured a bit later and had some inactivity period, prob also long rehab.
Now looks he is returning in fighting.
For Gassiev pros is that he is young, he is considerably younger than Dortiocs, not alone Briedis who is older than Dorticos.
He's only 27 now.

Is boxer 25 or 27 or 30 doesn't looks that impacts much.
After some 33, def after 35 these CW boxers might get old. At HW usually they are " old " a bit later.
like HW Pov and Wlad approx 37, Lewis 38 etc alike.

 

Okolie knocks out any version of Dorticos. There are levels.

Okolie will beat anybody in the division, currently, including Briedis.

The Sauce is destined for greatness. He's such a special talent.

Dorticos is good, but he's not special like Okolie.

When Okolie beats Briedis, Dorticos or Makabu it will be "X had covid", "Y is old", "Z was injured going in" etc. A what's what of excuses.

I had posted that Briedis is old and had gave 50/50 for their fight vs Dorticos and cos I didn't knew in what shape he is.
Also I didn't had placed real life bettings on fight Briedis vs Glowacki for the same reason.

He had been beated up by Usyk in his own backyard and didn't fought vs prime Briedis most likely because they were bad boxers.
