    It's Women's boxing. Who the f*ck cares. It's a sideshow.

If you think it's a side show, watch some footage of Lucia Rijker. She's a beast, strong fast and great technique. Undefeated World champion kickboxing 37-0 (25 KO) and undefeated in boxing 17-0 (14 KO). Only match she lost was against a male kickboxer, a world champion at that. No sideshow I'd say.

Look at her footage man. If losing to a male world champion makes womens boxing a sideshow, you can disqualify all womens sports. That's ridiculous. By your logic you can even say that anyone who ever got knocked out has no business in the ring. One convincing loss to a world champion does not make her less impressive.

Around here, one loss to a world champion marks that fighter as a bum.

Yeah, she retired and isn't coming back any time soon. She was the biggest star the sport ever had and possibly the greatest female fighter to ever lace them up. Would have loved to see the match up of her and Wolfe. Now that would have been a scrum worthy of an HBO telecast. Of course thinking about it, Larry Merchant might have gone back to the 1950's or some **** in his mind and started talking about how women should be in the kitchen.
