A great amateur, but top 10 middleweight in the pro ranks?! Not sure what possible basis there can be for that. There's nothing in his record to indicate that. Had he not fought in communist-era Hungary, maybe we'd have a clearer picture of his greatness, but he's a bit like Teofilio Stevenson in that we'll never know quite how good he could have been as a pro.
If you include amateur/Olympic achievements, yes he can be rated top 10 certainly. Most of us don't rank based on amateur/Olympic achievements but it is valid to do so, I suppose.
