There's nothing we can tell you, because it's so obvious: get off your lazy arse and go train. You have to make the change.

If you're starting from scratch try a few different things. If you wanna box head down to a boxing gym and try it out. Do a spin class or some ****, try a bunch of different ****, you just might find something you like. That's the only way to get motivation, you have to enjoy what you're doing.

Get up a half hour earlier every day and go for a walk.

Only eat when you're so hungry that it hurts a little. And only enough to make it go away.

Drink water all day. Whenever you even think about food, drink water.

Cheat two times a week. Two days where you eat what you want.

Don't eat a few hours before bed.

Drink a lot of water before bed. Your hunger combined with your urgent need to take a **** should propel you out of bed so you can go for a walk.

Wake up to hardcore motivating music that makes you want to jump up and start harming mother****ers. Pop in your earphones and walk to some music. Whatever you like, whatever fits the day. It'll be your favorite part of the day.

Eventually turn your walk into a run.

Once that's a habit, start going to the gym 3 times a week to box, lift, whatever.

And just keep on keepin on.

You need motivation, something we can't give you. Sort yourself out, set a target. Stop being a lazy ******* and expecting everyone else to do the work for you.

find a sparring partner to join the gym with you. so you guys would be on the same level...improving together. And you'll quit smoking if every time you spar (at least once a week...*****) you gas out...:tired and get beat up. You'll want to apply what you have learned while sparring...so get your wind.

If you can't find a friend to box with you...go make some acquaintances at the local boxing gym.

"Even if you are on the right track you'll get run over just standing on the tracks."

The most important statement you made is "can't get the motivation." I can't dunk a basketball or run 100m in 9.0 seconds, pretty much everything else is up to me. Replace the word can't with "won't."

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and this mentality drives me nuts in session. Smoking is very difficult to break for most, but there is no reason you can't get up and move.

getting punched in the face enough can make you quit smoking....that's oooonly if you're willing to quit though....it's all in the attitude you bring ;]

I understand what you are saying.

But what do you think is the difference between someone who will and someone who won't? Is it only laziness?

How is someone lazy and another one isn't?
I figure nobody WANTS to be lazy..No?

Thanks, that interesting since you're not asking me to jump off the bed and run!

But i'm not sure about the food part...I'm 5'8 and 140 pounds (high metabolic rate?)
(I guess you figured i was fat)

Yeah any time I hear lazy I assume fat lol. Well yeah, then unless you're way unconditioned it probably wouldn't hurt you to jog or walk/jog.

You're being lazy, simple as that. Posting here is just letting us know how lazy you are.

Start training, it really isn't that difficult. There's nothing else to say.
