Did you have Chambers winning the fight before he got ktfo or what? Wlad dominated every second of ever every round. aside from maybe when Chambers slammed him. If you're scared in boxing you get gunshy, get outworked, quit, you lose.. but you don't dominate, dictate and wipe someone out
Punching power in itself, isn't a real p4p attribute with much meaning. For example, Foreman could out punch Ali with power numbers as you've shown above, but punching power alone was insufficient in allowing Foreman to defeat Ali. The same is true for Stevenson. Although he is no Ali, Kovalev is definitely no George Foreman.
He was wining dominating and there wasnt a single reason not to KO him sooner thats why Steward yelled at him, he doesnt have to lose with being scared because he is one of the most talented fighters ever but he does fight scared, he promised KO vs Haye dominated but not once did he try for KO, thats why i stated he would not KO Hearns if they were same size because hears actually had attack mode in him Wlad doesnt, he would have strategy to win UD not try to KO for sure just like he didnt try vs Haye and Hearns is harder puncher P4P.
You can't listen to Stewart, who of the Kronk gym is KO crazy. Futch was 3x the trainer of Stewart and didn't place all of that emphasis on power shots and KOs as weasel face Stewart.
aggression alone does rarely win you fights on that level.. its not about who looks the most spectacular knocking out overmatched opponents or does it the quickest
That applies to you If P4P can't be applied in punching power, then it should mean nothing in other attributes On the basis of, if he is so good, he should beat em all regardless of lbs, bias based on your favorite fighters doesn't define or validate P4P in boxing, its a hypothetical value to better asses skill (including punching power) based on size I feel punching power is the most scientific accurate way to measure p4p, as its possible...Punching power is just what it is, nothing more...the whole subjective other stuff I prefer not to measure as it leaves room for bias :tired
What I mean is, there have been and are bigger punchers than Vlad, yet like Vlad, none of them them have ever made the p4p or ATG lists.
Yes. For example, do who do you think when when if both Hopkins and Vlad were at middleweight, and then both were at HW, each weighing the same at both weight divisions? All physical attributes being the same, it comes down to skill level and ring generalship. :yep
Punching power alone doesn't equal P4P success I feel Wilder is the best raw puncher ever...more than Wlad who is near the top of all humans Wilder is definitely better puncher P4P than Wlad That said Wlad skills/size reduce Wilders fortune...to that of a punchers chance, Wilder has no choice but to focus on perfecting his nuclear option...As he is very limited in every other department. Wilder size, range, power & desperation...will only create Violent fights...as there is no other way to deal with Wilder...he is too rangy|fast to outbox...you either KO him or get KTFO...most people don't seem to get this yet...and don't underatand that the 30-0 100% KO ratio was not an option...Wilder only knows how to shutdown the human CNS...always expect a violent KO
