Spinning heel kicked into the cage! Twice? :scaredas:

Scott Smith got ****ed the **** up.

Le should ask for a rubbermatch, as long as he stays disciplined he can't look anything but awesome against this kid. :yep

Le should fight someone else. He's not getting any younger, also Smith didn't do anything to warrant a third fight. He got his ass kicked.

It wouldn't be difficult to predict or competitive at all, no. :yep It would however be good for Le, just because it's more or less an automatic win to add to his resume and another showcase for him to look great (as he has twice now against Smith except for the very end of the first fight). Plus, it's always nice to avenge a loss, but avenging it twice is even sweeter.

Le vs Manhoef would be awesome. I'd still like to see a Cung Le vs Robbie Lawler match as well.

He's more elusive than Silva, maybe you should watch both fight.

Cung does have top notch defense. Getting knocked out had to do with his pacing more than anything.

As we saw in the rematch, under ordinary circumstances a fresh Le doesn't even get touched by someone like Smith.

I disagree, Cung gets tagged alot. Heck even Smith this last fight was landing. Can you imagine Smith landing anything on Anderson?

Cung Le's defence is moving and using kicks to maintain range. His defence is so so. When it comes to punches his defence is poor.

If a punch technically touches you, but you're rolling such that it doesn't connect clean, that's good defense.

The big difference with Cung in this last fight is that he's finally found his MMA rhythm. In most of his previous fights - he's used that San Shou pacing where he just tries to land as many techniques as he can through the course of the fight. In this fight he was more measured and only used his techniques when he knew they would be the most devastating. Coming back from this loss was all that Cung needed. He is now ready to take on anyone in his weight class.
