A lot of people seem to be quickly writing him off but a power puncher always stands a probable chance at victory and this man is the biggest puncher in all of boxing right now, I can't think of any other current heavyweight besides Takam who's power can be compared to his. Klitschko has been knocked out 3 different times and all 3 times were during his prime years, he's about to turn 38 on March 25th and the last time I checked chin doesn't get better with age. The 3 guys who has KO'd him Ross Puritty, Corrie Sanders and Lamont Brewster are all hard hitting boxers no doubt but Leapai's power is a notch above theirs. And as far as the inside fighting, clinching and hugging, there's no way Wlad will be able to outmuscle a 250lb man that's built like this on the inside: http://resources3.news.com.au/image...2695-478d5736-9f82-11e3-b163-d60ea6e39be3.jpg I wouldn't be surprised if Klitschko becomes the next victim to this type of brutal barrage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kw_ayhhDvbg Mark my words, Wlad will be fighting for survival on the night of April 26.
Yeah because this is the pinnacle of excellence in heavyweight boxing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daV_gT19p1U
Would you rather have just one champion that has been dominant for 10 years or 5 separate ones the coming year? Klitschko must stay champion until a fighter emerges that will wipe everybody out with ease including him.
I don't care who's champion, I want to see entertaining and competitive heavyweight title fights that doesn't include clinching 10 times every round for 12 Rounds straight and if Leapai gets rid of Klinchko I'm all for it.
I dont see it. Wlad will once again use his size reach advantage. Expect a real stinker of a fight a la Wlad Povetkin. Lots of leaning, clinching and jabbing. Points victory for Wlad.
That loss was due to a broken hand and lack of conditioning, he severely gassed in the later rounds and the fight had to be stopped.
Yes, Leapai can punch really, REALLY hard but it doesn't matter how hard you punch if you aren't athletic or coordinated enough to use your feet and feints to set traps for a defensive, jabber like Wlad. Sure, Peter gave Wlad fits but he had a far more complete skillset than Leapai does.
Exactly, and that is the performance that should be scrutinized before anyone bets heavily on Leapai.
As I stated in an earlier post, he broke his hand in the 2nd round of that fight and eventually gassed so badly that he couldn't fight anymore, that's how he lost. As far as anybody betting money on Leapai, that's their money and entirely up to them what they do with it, nobody should make those types of decisions based on posts from any message board.
Anything is possible in boxing, but most likely Wlad will win by TKO or UD, Wlad in his prime ( from few years ago) would have KO this guy.
