Leapai is one of the worst title challengers in Wlad's title fights (including his WBO title reign in 2000-2003).

I think Ray Austin was clearly better opponent with his draw vs Ibragimov and some quality wins.

Even Charles Shufford was better at that moment as he had some good wins over Lamon Bruster and Castillo.

When we talk about weakest Wlad's challenger I think it's between Leapai and Mormeck.

Leapai has only beaten Boytsov, who was overrated and had extremely padded record.

In fact Leapai is worse than one of the weakest Vitali's title challengers, Kevin Johnson as Johnson easily beat him and stopped in 9 rds.

That's not Wlad's fault, though, it only shows how overrated Denis Boytsov was as he was widely considered Wlad's next opponent

True, but Johnson bores me to tears, him stopping Leapai gives me no hope for an upset here though. Kevin is feather fisted so Leapai must be carrying some easily breakable glass.

Nothing surprising, it's the heavyweight division.

Leapai has a good-ish chin. The Johnson loss was more due to fatique, than being hurt. Leapais biggest weaknes is his stamina. He huffs and puffs after one round.
