1 week seems weird if someone is injured.

Fight postponed to either Oct 31 or Nov 1

    On Ent Centre's site:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Alex Leapai is postponing his heavyweight battle with American Malik Scott citing injuries to his calf and lower back.
The fight will be moved to alternative venue

No reason to doubt Alex's injuries but the cynic in me wonders if the real
problem was poor ticket and ppv sales + an incomplete undercard.

No doubt eventually all will be revealed.

Undercard was almost complete, but IMO it lacked local content. Given upcoming Qld shows, it's gonna be difficult to find locals as short notice.

LOLeapai is a quitter just like the Soliman kid and the Geale kid. These kids have no heart.

I doubt Leapai is a quitter. IMO the fight lacked interest, not to mention lack of undrecard local combatants, who'd naturally assist with bums on seats.
I guess, wait & see what eventuates

Maybe it's time Alex moved on & found another manager/promoter?

Don't think promoting and matchmaking really is this mob's game.
In Brisbane May 2013 after watching a very tame undercard the small crowd
was kept waiting forever for Alex's opponent to show.
His original opponent Ghanaian John Napari was denied a medical clearance on
the day of the fight. His very late replacement 24yr old Joe Lloyd from Werribee was still on the plane from Melbourne when they should have been
    climbing through the ropes.
Joe eventually turned up and was predictably KO'd in round one.
The crowd was none too pleased. Hopefully he was well compensated for his effort.

John Napari 18-0-0 Last fought 7/7/12 would have been a complete mismatch
Only 2 of his opponents had ever won a fight.

    It's a tough gig.
Good promoting and matchmaking are essential for a fight night's success.
