leapai will. **** the excuses. bring the fight on. browne fighting grandfather toney is a demori tactic of fighting old damaged fighters. however, the level browne is, toney may even beat him!!!:rofl come on browne, fight a real live contender. fight a top ten fighter in leapai. you wanna step up? well its here on your doorstep and waiting. who you gunna call? another old man!! ha!
Browne has publicly said he wants Leapai and Solo by the end of the year to 'officially' sort out who is Australia's top HW. What more you want him to say?
He's also said he'd like to fight de Mori, but he went on to say he didn't expect Mark would want to fight him.
I personally think he should be fighting Sol or Alex rather than Toney...what is the toney fight going to achieve apart from raising his profile slightly?
Beating Toney, assuming he can, will increase Lucas Browne's profile significantly. Toney is a huge name in boxing, whether he is old and fat or not.
I would too. But you answered the 'why' part of the question yourself: It's about the lift in profile a win over James Toney would provide. Only 5 people have ever beaten Toney, and nobody has ever stopped him. Big opportunity for Browne to make a name for himself here, even if Toney is old and turns up fat.
Leapai and Toney should fight..... a couple of fatties going for it before someone quits once the main meal is dished up to the corporates
Can you imagine the counter punching clinic? I think he will put one on against Browne regardless of condition and no knock against Alex, but if KJ can counter punch his way to victory, Toney would make it very ugly for him. Anyone who say Browne shouldn't take a fight with Toney has completely no idea about the boxing business.
That's all well and good, but he might wanna fight someone with a pulse before he even contemplates going overseas to fight
Don;t get me wrong, I like Lucas and wish him well, but this was his last fight..... it's an embarrassment http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWBV1m2qA0Q
