i think he'll give helenius a run for his money he's on a roll at the mo,if noel can get him the shot as he did with his past fighters leapai is going to be hard to stop with the confidence he has.

Noel is close to signing a big US name fighter to take Alex on out here....a win in that fight for Alex will see him in the top 15 in every belt :deal

Everyone has their opinion.....Alex is in full prep for his upcoming fight,it doesn't matter who they put in front of him,the confidence & the hope he has taking that 1 step closer to the top with the support of his team & family he's a force to be reckoned with, not only he's still learning but he's getting stronger every time with his conditioning peaking to the top.....like I said every1 has their opinion brag what ever negative **** you's want at the end of the day Alex himself knows what he wants to achieve & we should support him all the way.

Just to make it clear.....Kali Meehan had a schedule fight with Alex but had fallen through,Kali quoted in 1 of his interview - "I guess there's not much lion in the Lionheart," he scoffed.
"To be honest, I'm used to this - I could write a book on frustration.
"Leapai said he wanted to step up, he said it was time for out with the old and in with the new but when he was granted his shot they were empty words"

To make it clear Kali wanted 50-G's to fight Alex it's the only reason why this fight didn't happen...but gets a shot at Kirby for a way less amount.....Alex doesn't back down mate from any1 especially you Meehan.....out of all our Aussie heavies at the moment you don't get any prouder Australian than Alex when he enters that ring & i'll ****en promise you he won't disappoint.

Yeah it's not quite cricket that Kali says Alex backed out....it sure as hell aint boxing :blood

And the $50,000 ask is just nuts

However I am looking forward to watching Meehan v Kirby....maybe Meehan will fight Alex after for a reasonable purse :blood

Just curious to know what the issue is if kali asked for 50g .
He has been on the world stage and should be getting that money for any fight he has from here on end ,it aint a lot of money in the scale of things
take the fight and put the money down and put kali to sleep if your good enough,
Or lose the fight and say you had the oppurtunity
SO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FIGHT FOR A WORLD TITTLE and the champ says i want 2million to fight? are you going to say the champ is scared cause of the money hes asking for
if your confident of winning put the money down bash kali and collect a big pay day

    ps
good luck to both boys if someone finds the money

Good to see a user on this forum not holding Leapai's nuts for a change.

Fair call post by the way.

Good luck trying to find anyone outside of Meehan who thinks $50,000 is a reasonable amount to pay for one half of a domestic fight.

Well Leapai can pay his 10-15k & get has beens/shot fighters that show up out of shape & still get hometown refereeing with premature stoppages.
You want some decent quality you have to fork out the $, & sacrifice some advantages. The old risk/reward routine.

Thanks for the heads up. It's still not worth $50,000.
