Learning the hard way to spot the overrated!

    I would only favor Pacquiao over Valero at 135 because of his power and speed. If you don't have a good punch and solid defense Valero will always get the KO because of the way he fights. He banks a lot on being able to land first and harder than the next guy. Despite a rather loose defense he'll probably be knocking out a lot of good future opponents until his chin up-in-the-air style catches up with him against a big hitter. I think just surviving the first few rounds against the guy is almost half the battle for most fighters. Valero also carries his power and volume punching even late so I wouldn't count on a strategy of just waiting him out until the later rounds and eating punches like Mosquera who was one of the toughest champs at 130.
