These Best I ve faced are useless.

Even before them fighters were rarely sincere or objective in their views.

    I wouldn't go that far.

Some of them come across as being sincere.

Trinidad said Whitaker had the best defense and not Winky Wright. LOL Trinidad landed his right almost effortlessly on Whitaker.

If they changed it to "Best I've Beaten," that might give you fairer and more realistic answers. You remove the main reason for bias that way.

Most honest answer you will get is probably from journeyman at a lower level.

    @DJN16

Have a look at Pryor's. The only weird one i think is Arguello as fastest feet but i reckon there's a good chance he meant "effective" or just ****ed up. He did put himself thru some rigors. Admittedly he also beat everyone too so there's no real grudge loss. Given his explanation it's hardly surprising Kameda was mentioned for jab and Goins has snuck into a few comments from other boxers as well mostly for power. Fair chance he may have underachieved or just didn't transition well to the pro's. Dude was dropping guys like Carlos and stopping Pryor in the ams.

    Danny lopez:
    BEST PUNCHER
Chacon: Ruben Olivares was one of the hardest punchers I fought. I felt every shot he landed on me. Also, Bobby Chacon was a good puncher. I’d probably pick Bobby.

    Wut da?

    1. Olivares peak weight was Bantam while Chacon was a natural Feather.
    2. Olivares dropped Lopez but was KO'd. Chacon actually stopped Lopez.
    3. Boza Edwards rated Chacon the second best puncher he faced and spoke of he and Arguello at length.
    4. Bazooka Limon rated Chacon the best puncher he ever faced - above Arguello and others.

Conclusion - Bobby Chacon is an underrated puncher.

I don't know much about Kameda tbh. That was a good read. After naming Arguello the best in most categories it was a little funny how he picked Cervantes as the best he faced. ATG fighters though.

He does sort of justify it by looking at him historically. His last sentence also only names him as "one of the greatest" so he's sorta conflicted i reckon.

    BEST OVERALL

Cervantes: Looking back on my career, I would like to say a guy by the name of Antonio Cervantes. Cervantes had 100 fights, held the championship for about 10 years (in two separate reigns) until he fought me. He knocked me down in the first round, I got back up and knocked him out. I think Cervantes was one of the greatest I ever fought.

Yeah true, he emphasises how good the fighter is over 10 years, 100 fights and still knocked him down in their respective fight.
