Least favorite commentator.

Berto/Hunter on PBC is always a wreck.

 

HBO by far. They have become just horrible and with the addition of Harold Lederman who can't score a fight to save his life, it completes the total package of a pile of ****. Lampley use to be good and objective and just would call the action. Now this clown calls out blantant phantom punches and pushes agenda. It makes for watching the fight irritable.

 

Bunce does my head in but when it comes to poor commentary no one can hold a candle to Spencer Fearon. Racially biased and incredibly stupid, I'm amazed that he continues to be given airtime despite his glaring inadequacies. You'd think he's getting his opportunities due to 'positive discrimination' but with so many people from similar backgrounds infinitely more qualified than him to serve as pundits that doesn't make sense either. There are countless black experts who'd do a far better job than him given the chance. F

 

Can't stand Bob Sheridan, he has no idea how to score a fight hardly pays attention to the action is to busy giving shout outs to random people he knows from restaurants and Aussie biker gangs.

steph A smith. my mate informs me he knows his stuff when it comes to other sports but he knows NOTHING about boxing and constantly tries to play devils advocate with his fellow KNOWLEDGEABLE co commentators and argue their points when he does not have a leg to stand on. its beyond annoying

 

Jim Watt was the absolute worst commentator and he had no clue about scoring a fight.

Harold Ledermans scoring gives me similar feelings

Also that moron Bunce does my head in, a clueless loudmouth.

I think Carl Froch is great but I struggle when he's commentating on one of his old rivals, the bias in his commentary for the DeGale/Jack fight was horrendous.

 

Mr. Compubox...
There have been multiple fights during which he mainly talks about the compubox numbers. We don´t need RBR updates from him. They can display it on the screen if they want to.

 

David Haye, absolutely terrible. Says nothing that adds to the discussion and will constantly try to divert the discussion back to himself.

Matthew Macklin is also awful.

I enjoy Malignaggi as a commentator. Very knowledgeable and observant.

Unfortunately I dont care for his Scorecards because he is biased for the Boxers style and always scored the fight In their favor.

You are right that Stephen A. knows nothing about boxing.

However, everyone he has ever debated with on ESPN knows just as little as he.

Literally no one on ESPN follows boxing. None whatsoever.
