Kellerman, hands down THE worst I've seen in 35 years of following boxing. That annoying little twerp doesn't know jack **** about boxing, and it shows. How could he? He got his job at ESPN with NO real experience as a journalist, participant, or anything else to do with sport. His daddy's connections with a powerful boxing promoter landed him the job. And somehow this annoying clown was allowed to replace great commentators like Al Bernstein or Larry Merchant??? That's what a rich daddy's connections will get you!

 

Jim Lampley has good voice and pronunciation, but doesn't know **** about boxing

 

I hate to date myself but I could never stand Howard Cosell.

 

Any commentator that still says "British level boxing" after these past 2 years that the Brits have held it down for boxing.
I still don't like em, but I will give them credit.

 

Max Kellerman

 

Larry Merchant was terrible. Y'all crazy.

 

I got a love hate thing going on with most announcers.

I could so easily punch Kellerman right in his face.

 

Merchant for the last 20 years hated boxing and was a cynical nuisance. At least Kellerman's faults comes from enthousiasmes, he is overly opinionated and partisan but he genuily loves the sport. Even then, on rare occasions Merchant's jaded sarcasme could actualy be a fun thing.

Lampley is the one that seems the most like a corporate tool.

Harold Lederman, the only case that could be made that judging could be worst. He never had the attetion span to watch a full 3 minutes rounds.

Teddy Atlas shows incredibly intectual dishonesty that comes along with an inflexible and limited intelligence. He start off with some basic principles, applies them as rules. Then no matter what actually happen's he distorts reality to prove himself right.

I know i did not name only commentators, but i assumed it was meant in a broader sens.

My favorite one is mute.

 

they're almost all so dreadful i mute practically everyone but Nick Halling has no talent for boxing commentary whatsoever, along with having the most annoying voice since Jim Watt blessed us with his absence. hbo is a total dumpster fire. i'd need to get paid well to listen to them. showtime is bearable if you catch them on a good night. bernstein is ok and the russians i don't mind, most likely because i don't understand them. teddy atlas should have his monotonous tongue cut out and stapled to his forehead.

Max Kellerman is an idiot, would never have gotten his job at ESPN2 if not for his father, he does not know much but pretends to know, he kisses SOB's dirty arse! "Were those borderline low blows or were they low low blows"? He is the worst! I told Max, years ago, live on the air that he was a very nice closed minded person..................when he was still on ESPN2. Max thought the Klitschkos were German Nazi's, some controversy, he hated the Klitschkos! I explained to him that the Klitschkos were Ukrainian and that Ukrainians hated Nazis badly, look what Hitler did to Ukraine! Max is a nice person though...............I will give him that.................Paulie is a really good commentator, when Tony Weeks stopped the Kovalev/Ward fight on illegal low blows to the testicles Paulie raised hell, said the fight should never have been stopped on low blows, that Kovalev should have had 5 minutes to recover! At least he told that truth, did not kiss SOB's dirty arse at all! He knows boxing..................yes, boxing is corrupt! Byrd is the worst referee in boxing.................

This is the number from "The Fight Game" Jim Lampley 702-486-2575. As reported, Byrd who scored the Golovkin/Alvarez fight 10 rounds for El Pollo and only 2 rounds for Golovkin will not be penalized at all! Bob Bennett, the boxing commissioner lied live on HBO, claiming that Byrd was a great judge and had never had a bad card until the Golovkin/Alvarez fight! A total lie! Byrd has been corrupt for years. Jim Lampley said that if fans do not do something now, the corruption in boxing will continue! Bob Bennett was also called out by HBO for lying about the last Rigo fight when Rigo held his opponent's head and hit him three times in a row, then clearly after the bell landed a left hook and knocked his opponent out! Bob Bennett lied live on HBO, said their video man told him that the punch was clearly before the bell while the video was being replayed! Later the decision was changed, but only after HBO proved him wrong! The same Bob Bennett who refused to watch the replay of Kovalev/Ward when Ward clearly landed three low blows in a row to Kovelev's testicles!. Call the number and complain! I will do it tomorrow!
