True. Then again, there are very few circumstances in life where the first thing that pops into my head at first glance is "WOW, I bet if we got into a fight with that guy, I'd be ****ed". :yep If it was 1982 and you saw a teenage Iron Mike your knees probably wouldn't tremble the same way they would from a chance encounter six years later. You'd be like "dawwww, I wanna buy him some soup".

    Intimidation can depend upon circumstances.

JimCorbett for example was a guy who could blend into any background.

Put him among roughnecks and he passed for a roughneck. Put him among the higher social classes and he became "Gentleman Jim".

He would not apear intimidating if it was in his career interests to court you, but if you pissed him off in a bar you would be looking at a verry different animal.

the least intimidating fighter that i have seen must be michael spinks. he seems to have a genuine and shy demeanor. i think he wanted to be a preacher, before finding his talent in boxing.

I remember talking about him at my old job (McDonald's). The shift manager knows a bit about boxing, everyone in the place except me is black (Detroit), and he says this: "He's this little Asian guy. He looks like you could kick his ass, but actually he could beat the **** out of everyone in here."

SRL neither looks nor sounds mean... but I would not want to fight him.

he didnt have the look of a fighter, but when I see that right he hit walcott with in the 13th round I have a whole different perspective.

The now late great Alexis Aguello is another one that comes mind when it comes to looking the least intimidating but could destroy his opponents 9/10 with well placed shots.
