    Of all the heavyweight champions who do you think was the least likley to become champion?

    Say that you know their abilities and the era they fight in but not the circumstances under which they will get their title shot.

    Who would you name as say the least probable three to have won the title?

    Prety good shout.

    Not much has to change for Braddock to disapear into complete obscurity.

    Even on his best night he would probably need favourable matching to become champion.

    I would probably add Oliver Mcall and Old George Foreman to that list. If anyone remembers Oliver Mcall in the 80's he was never known for more than being a sparring partner and a tough trial horse for up and coming fighters. He never had world class skills.
    Big George after losing to Tommy Morrison became even more of a longshot in the minds of most.

    As Larry Merchant said immediately after the outcome, the odds should have been gazillion to one that Foreman could ever regain the title again.

    All I could do is shake my head watching Moorer, I wasnt shocked at all. He fought so stupid. I believe George had a gameplan all along, but I dont think it involved taking a beating for 10 rounds to lure Moorer closer.
