Inspired of course by Haye vs. Valuev. I'm wondering if there is a precedent that is worse. I'm interested in the person winning the fight, so no Hopkins vs. Hakkar please.

    Discuss.

Probably Tua-Ruiz if you count the WBC international title (you shouldn't).

And how many of those were "don't hit me punches".

It was a great effort as well seen as Johnson managed to lose pretty much every round and Haye became champ. ;)

  10. Depends on how long the title fight lasts. If he knocks his opponent out with his first punch, then the answer is 1!!! So basically the quickest K.O. is your winner.

Briggs-Sergei Liahovich, sorry about the spelling

  12. That's true Ilesey.

He threw less than half the punches and emerged the champion; not the recipient of a one sided beat down.

    Lies, damned lies and statistics!

Yup, David Haye would probably be pleased with that statistic, imagine what he could do if he through say double the amount of punches as he did against Vluev;)

I don't know how many puches Valuev threw vs Holyfield, but it must be quite low.

As for how may he landed, I would be surprised if he managed double figures.
