First they blamed the Russian anti doping agency for faking Jones' sample.

Then they blamed them again for the rematch when Jones tested positive for the same thing. Only to find out it was a mutally agreed upon Swiss lab that tested Jones'. Then they claimed collusion.

Now they claim it does not matter because they were both using even though Lebedev's samples were both clean on both occasions.

Boxing is a modern day Animal Farm to them with some fighters being more equal than others.

 

Look at the morons defending Jones. Jones was terribly behind on the judges score cards, take away PED's from Jones, and Lebedev cruises to a comfortable victory, probably by knock out. Defend Jones taking PED's, but criticize Pacman for it?

 

I just find it baffling how someone would justify PED use on the basis that the other fighter is also probably on PEDs (but there's 0 proof). Ridiculous.

Diuretics are banned not because they're performance enhancing but they are dangerous to the fighter who takes them. They are generally abused to make weight in a short period of time. The problem with this category of drugs is they cause muscle fatigue and dehydration which are both very counter-productive to a fighter's performance.

They're banned for solid reason but are anything but a PED.

The Jones/Lebedev fight was fairly one-sided. Jones has beaten some decent fighters but he always looks a bit flabby.

If he used them exclusively to lose weight, then I consider that a legit win for him. I mean he won fair and square. You could say it's unfair that the other guy has to make weights without the help of drugs, but on fight night, Jones wasn't on roids or anything.

It is a PED, it does increase performance, and can be used as a masking agent (hides anything else). It helps you keep in shape, which helps you train harder, hence helps your performance.

Oh and yes, Lebedev was AHEAD on the score cards, so Jones had to do something dramatic. He did, thank the PED's.
