That wont ever happen. The steroid myth will never die. Its simply too easy.

This old myth that modern steroid testing is "**** easy" to pass is a joke. The testing is growing much faster than the doping. Its not a joke, it catches almost everything. What use can be done would have to be very small, very short, and with a select group of chemicals.

"oh they can just screen the drug tests" is no longer true, it just isn't and its growing old hearing it.

It takes steroids less than a few days to completely aromatise and be gone from your system completely. In some cases it can be done in hours with masking agents. Welcome back from Oz.

None that people are using, and metabolites and ratios of hormones make almost any doping detectable. Masking agents set off the test.

Honestly, to think that its still easy to pass a modern doping test is laughable, just look at the amount of people still getting caught.

Leben said, and I think I believe him, that he stopped using months ago, and was still caught.

The amount of people getting caught simply says that it is not some easy to trick test anymore, you cannot effectively use steroids in a particuarly valuble way, as in high enough quantity, the drugs you want, and close enough to the fight and not get caught, this is not the early 90s.

Take one look at some athletes moving from non tested to tested organization, tell me testing doesn't work.

The half life itself is only 1 day for Stanazol, do you honestly believe Leben was taking winny right up to the fight with full knowledge that he would AUTOMATICALLY be tested? Main Events are always tested, you think he just forgot or what?

Modern doping tests are very very good.

it is almost common place for 1 fighter to fail a steroid test on an MMA card now. This is getting pathetic.

One thing I noticed about him was that his voice had changed for some reason.Anyways he was clearly whipped in that fight by a decent but not great opponent.

They don't just test for the hormones. They test for the metabolites, which, depending on the compound you take, can linger in your system for some time.

That's why that "designer" steroid that BALCO was putting out was beating so many tests. There's a ratio of these certain hormones in the body that taking AAS can alter, but the BALCO **** would bump up the metabolites as well, so the guy's ratio on the regular **** would be like 2:1, while the guy on the BALCO **** would still be 1:1 even though the absolute number of exogeneous hormones in the athletes would be the same.

I'm not really that disappointed. Looks like the drugs inhibited his ability to perform (n/h). Wasn't the same Leben in there. Bisping's a scumbag regardless.
