Harold scored Toney vs Jirov a draw even with a KD and a point deducted from Jirov. Incase you never saw the fight Jirov did nothing but come forward and eat punches from Toney while his weak punches were blocked or missed.

Lettermen is a terrible judge and he just shows how dumb and bias judges are. He is a sucker for anyone that come forward. He always talks about effective aggression but he does seem to understand the "effective" part. Lettermen is a joke and none of his scorecards hold any weight and the best thing about him being on hbo is that his scorecards don't count.

Oh and there is definitely an agenda seeing as Cunningham will never be on hbo where as Adamek could be at anytime.

    **** Lettermen.

Sadly most boxing "fans" only care about what they like. Most are ******s that think everyone should just stand infront of each other and bash each other like cavemen. They don't even know what lateral movement, defense and jabbing means.

Bingo. If a fighter comes forward, he wins the round. Never mind "effective" Lederman just scores "aggression."

Maybe he heard Lampley saying "bang" every time Adamek missed a punch.

If I'm going backwards and landig punches on someone - that is still effective aggression

Leaderman is an out and out **** - his scores are so bad that if after a fight, I hae the same scorecard as him, I will automatically assume I was wrong and that I DKSAB

in a close fight the stylistic preference is the only thing what matters,
that is why Marquez never won with PAC on points because he was
less active, he landed less and was most time on the back foot.

The fighter who press the action, lands more power punches instead
jabs, uses combinations is in advantage.
I bet these things matter more when you score the fight professionally
and when you are responsible for your own scoring decisions.

So Steve should blame only himself and he should learn from this
    in the future.

Um no. There are plenty of good judges who score correctly.

Mayweather except for the De La Hoya fight always gets judges who score fights correctly as to why Ledermans scorecard where he had Hatton winning 4 of the first 10 rounds was laughable.

There were plenty of people who were not on FLoyd's bandwagon and who
scored first rounds to Hatton. Leaning on the ropes, and showing how perfectly
you can roll your shoulders to avoid punches isn't amusing everybody.

That is what they mean by personal taste, boxing is not about dancing,
it is more about punching, you score punch you have the clear advantage
if you don't then you leave the scoring for the personal taste of watchers.

Floyd's defense is ATG and that is why USUALLY he can just go in
there and roll his shoulders all day long and this gives him boring decision
with one or two punches landed per round.

Its called defense. Unless hitting shoulders and gloves excites you lol. I prefer Mayweathers right hands that were rocking Hattons head back myself.
Sweet science, hit and dont get hit. Astute boxing observers prefer those things. There's always UFC.

If you think you can't be technically brilliant while always cutting off the ring and landing effective blows watch Chavez or Duran. That's what effective aggression means. Adamek against Cunnigham and Hatton vs Mayweather is the antithesis of that.

Bet you had Foreman up against Ali huh?

Floyd statistically is just under the welterweight limit for punches landed. Its called efficiency.

Again maybe youd prefer bum fights on YouTube, thats more up your alley

I had it 115-113 for Adamek as well, like Lederman.

Judging in boxing should be purely statistical.

Lederman should retire, and take Lampley with him. Larry Merchant should be kept on, until one day he falls asleep during a fight and never wakes up. Hopefully in a Mayweather fight.

    I never said it was.

Just saying Adamek has the style that you enjoy more.

I had it a draw. I've said that numerous times.
